Meet Our Faculty and Staff

Headmaster, Karen Parker

It is a privilege to have you as our guest. We hope that as you spend time with us, we give you a sense of the School’s rich history and traditions.  More importantly, we hope that you will see evidences of how God has richly blessed this school in the past and continues to work through us today.

Our name identifies who, Whose, and what we are.  We are committed to preparing students not only for college, but for a God-honoring life as well.  At Cape Fear Chrisitan Academy, we utilize Classic tradition to challenge each student with high standards of personal integrity and academic rigor.  All of our students are privy to a PreK-12 student-centered college preparatory educational environment.  We provide a full range of athletic and fine arts opportunities.  We also offer daily Bible classes, weekly chapel programs, and local service projects.  Through these avenues, we nurture and develop students to discover their God-given talents and to embrace who they are in Christ.

Achieving excellence doesn’t just happen.  It is intentional and the result of careful and well-executed planning, a strong commitment to the highest standards, and an unwavering pledge to remain fixed upon Biblical truth as our foundation.  As Professor Alfred North Whitehead famously wrote, “Education is impossible without the habitual vision of greatness.”  Cape Fear Christian Academy has become great, and remains so, because of the dedicated and accomplished men and women who serve on our faculty.  Our faculty and coaches are the heart of Cape Fear Christian Academy.  Our teachers and coaches continually inspire students to a life marked by dynamic faith, intellectual growth, and dedicated service.

Niche, an independent organization that rates colleges and schools, recently selected Cape Fear Christian Academy as one of the top twenty best private high schools in North Carolina.  The criteria they used in their selection process included academic strength, richness of co-curricular offerings, and strong demographic and geographic diversity.  Niche saw in Cape Fear Christian Academy the very strengths that first drew me to the school in 2007 as a prospective parent.  As a parent of a Cape Fear Christian Academy sixth grader, I am impressed by the passion that both the faculty and student body share for teaching and learning.

I personally invite you to come by for a visit where you can see this wonderful community first hand.   When you come, please stop in and say, “Hello.” I would love to meet you.
