So Long Summer-Hello School

The time has come to say so long for now to the laid-back days of summer and instead, now it’s time to pack the days with alarm clocks, classes, snacks, homework, maybe some team sports, and some downtime before prepping to do it again tomorrow.

While our students played in the sun and our teachers had some time for self-care, we at the school worked through the summer to ensure the classrooms and campus would be ready and waiting for our student’s return. We are very excited to welcome all our students and staff back for what is bound to be an incredibly productive spectacular 2022-2023 academic year.

The first week of school is now under our belt and we are excited that the school year is off to a great start. It was so nice to see all the familiar faces back on campus with sun-kissed cheeks and a few more inches in height than when they left campus in May.

It was equally exciting to see new faces that have joined our eagle family this year. We know that CFCA will be a great home and community for our new families.

With only a few days under our belts, the nerves and the newness may still have some students feeling anxious. Rest assured that at CFCA, we work hard to foster an environment that emphasizes social-emotional learning with a focus on community inside and outside of the classroom.

The 2022-2023 school year has kicked off and we are relaxed, recharged, and ready to see our students learn and grow here at Cape Fear Christian Academy. A successful school year is always the result of a productive partnership between us at the school, parents, and our students. Working together will create an environment that helps the students to excel and reach their highest potential. The most successful students will have support in place at school and at home. Your positive interactions with us at the school will have the biggest impact on your students and how they feel about school as they navigate the in and outs of this school year. There are a few things that can help on the homefront to ensure a successful year for your student.

At CFCA, the staff, faculty, and leadership are committed to the students and their academic, social, and emotional well-being. Reach out to your teachers or leadership thoughts, questions, concerns, and even kudos are always welcome.

What makes CFCA a great place to learn and grow is the heart of the community created by those that dedicate their time and hearts to the school.

We are proud of our school and know that under our wings the students will soar like an eagle.
